The event is jointly organised by the E-Health Unit, Department of Primary Care and Population Health, UCL and Arthritis Research UK Primary Care Centre, Keele University

The e-Health Unit, UCL was established by Professor Elizabeth Murray in 2003 to explore the use of new information and communication technologies, such as the Internet or mobile phones, to improve health and health care. It is now one of the foremost e-Health units internationally, with a strong multi-disciplinary focus and expertise across a wide range of research methods.

 

The Arthritis Research UK Primary Care Centre, Keele University, is an internationally renowned research programme in pain and musculoskeletal disorders in primary care. The overall aim is to deliver high quality multidisciplinary research designed to improve the content, delivery and configuration of primary care for the benefit of patients with musculoskeletal conditions. In 2009, the Centre was proud to be awarded the Queen’s Anniversary Prize for Further and Higher Education, for Pioneering early intervention and primary care in the management of chronic pain.
